Muncie Community Schools’ enrollment is down only about one percent from the same time last year. The Star Press reports the district counted 4,811 students in the district last Friday, and that number will determine how much state funding they draw. MCS counted 4,865 students at this same time a year ago, indicating a reduction of 54 students.
