A former Jay County sheriff’s deputy told investigators he shot and killed an intruder he encountered in his garage. The Star Press reports 34 year old Roger L. Boyd Jr was arrested early Saturday after the body of 49 year old James P. Miller of Montpelier, was found in the garage of Boyd’s home, in the 1200 block of South Bridge Street.
