February 8th is the trial date for ex-Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler on a federal theft charge. It’s been rescheduled from August 8th. The request to do so came from Tyler’s defense team as, according to the Star Press, they’re looking for more time to negotiate a plea agreement with the government or adequately prepare for trial.
