What ended as a shootout on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Muncie Saturday started with a staredown of sorts earlier at a convenience store in the city. In the end, about 20 shots were fired, one hitting 22 year old Deshawn Fleming, during the incident near McCulloch Park. Fleming was in a car with others at the time. His injury said to be non life threatening.
