Police say a Muncie mother dropped her infant daughte while intoxicated and the child’s head hit a counter. When police checked out the situation, they discovered that 21 year old Leaha Sherman-Pope was trying to knock a phone out of her mother’s hand when she dropped the child and then ran from the house. The girl was left with a visible bump on her forehead. The mother faces charges.
