Yorktown Community Schools are announcing Friday that the school system will move to eLearning effective March 16-19. According to the Star Press, the decision was made because of guidance given from state officials and health professionals about preventing the spread of COVID-19. The school system goes on spring break as of March 20 and eLearning resumes on March 31-April 3. Decisions beyond the start of April will be made a later date.
