Since 2016, the administration of Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr. has been distributing grants to local teachers using the proceeds from the annual Mayor’s Ball. This year, 43 teachers will be awarded the grants; nine of which received the maximum $2,000 grant amount.
