Health Department To Pay For Building Repairs

The building housing the Madison County Health Department needs repairs and the department will pay for them. The repairs — including the replacement of two boilers and the installation of new controls — could cost the county an estimated $200,000, reports the Herald Bulletin. As a result, a request for $108,033 from the county’s rainy day fund was withdrawn.
