Muncie Mayor-elect Dan Ridenour has chosen Muncie Police Department veteran Nathan Sloan to be his police chief. Ridenour’s administration takes over January 1st. In addition to Sloan serving as the new chief of police, Melissa Peace will assume the role of deputy chief.
