An Elwood man is charged with beating up his girlfriend and with threatening to kill police. 39 year old David Goodknight made the threat, say police, as officers took him into custody early Tuesday. The victim had called police from Casey’s General Store, claiming Goodknight struck her in the face with their three year old in the car with them.
