Concannon’s on Walnut Street is closing. The bakery at 620 N. Walnut is closed as of Monday and the owners are asking patrons to use their Baker Lane location instead. According to the Star Press, Michael Concannon, whose parents started the business back in 1959, said the decision was difficult and that walk in business had had been shifting from the downtown location to the northside shop.
