Christmas is about to get a little more merry for 250 Muncie children. The Annual Heroes and Helpers event – planned for December 14 – will allow local law enforcement officers and volunteers to do some shopping with youngsters in need. Large contributions from both Target and an out-of-state foundation should help make this year’s Heroes and Helpers the second largest gathering in the program’s history.
