Teachers get their ‘biggest raise in over ten years’ in a new Carmel contract. Carmel Clay Schools and the Carmel Teacher’s Association reached a deal that calls for a 4 percent raise for this school year and a 2 percent raise for next. The agreement also increases the life insurance benefit from $50,000 to $75,000 and adds leave for foster parents.
