Anderson’s Police Chief To Step Down Sunday

Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick Jr. says Sunday night will be the end of Tony Watters’ time as Anderson police chief. The Herald Bulletin reports that Broderick’s decision Tuesday comes just one day after the mayor was provided with a supplemental police report from the Indiana State Police. Watters has been embattled since his son’s arrest related to an alleged domestic violence incident in July.
