A Spiceland teenager has learned that he will stand trial December 16 on charges stemming from a fatal car crash.19-year-old Parker Joseph Lee Smeltzer was arrested September 1, a short time after a passenger in his car was fatally injured after the vehicle slammed into a Henry County utility pole.
