The President of Ball State University Geoffrey Mearns is getting a pay raise and a bonus. The board of trustees voted to raise his base salary by 3% from $465,000 to $480,000. He’ll also get a $60,000 bonus. Last year he gave away more than half of his $50,000 bonus to a scholarship fund and will do the same this year.
