Ball State University is ranked as the 192nd best national university, the fourth best Mid-American Conference school, and the 53rd best performer in the nation at serving low-income students in rankings released on Monday by U.S. News & World Report. The Star Press reports BSU was the highest-rated school in the state in a new ranking of “Top Performers on Social Mobility” in the magazine’s “2020 U.S. News Best Colleges.”
