An Anderson police officer who joined the force in May is being investigated on allegations of child molestation, Matthew Blakeley was hired from the Alexandria PD and was placed on paid leave in late June. His attorney says the charges against Blakeley are retaliatory in nature and he’s confident his client will be found innocent if the matter proceeds to trial.
