Anderson Community Schools is the first district in Madison County to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students. The Herald Bulletin reports that 84% of their students already were eligible for free and reduced-fee meals. ACS serves more than 1.2 million meals during the course of a school year. Menus remain the same – made-from-scratch meals.
