Yorktown’s Library Is Expanding

Walls are coming down soon at the Yorktown Public Library as part of a $1.8 million expansion project. Crews will be adding 3,000 square feet on the north side of the building featuring public computers, some of the adult print collection, a staff workroom, a new, larger conference room and two restrooms. It should take about five months to complete once it’s started.
