Solar Farm Asks For 10 Year Tax Abatement

The Madison County Board of Zoning Appeals will hear a special use request for the Lone Oak Solar Farm. Lone Oak is asking for a ten year tax abatement on the project which is expected to generate $24 million in tax revenue. The hearing is at 6pm Thursday in the Madison County Government Center council chambers.
