Full-time Madison County employees will receive a 1% pay increase for the second consecutive year. The Madison County Council while cutting $3.8 million from the 2020 budget requests, allowed for the pay increase. According to the Herald Bulletin, the pay raise does not include elected officials and those covered by a contract.
