MadCo 2020 Budget Requires 1 Percent Cut

The Madison County Council says all elected officials and department heads must trim their budgets by 1% for 2020 and added the stipulation that those cuts could not come from salaries. The council voted to reduce all the budgets by 1% across the board in order to cut $127,000 from the 2020 county budget.
