Local Democrats will meet at the “214” later this afternoon to select a person to serve a four-month term as Muncie City Council member. According to the Star Press, Democrats will select a replacement for city council at-large member Denise Moore who resigned August 15. The meeting will be at 5 p.m. at the Democrat headquarters at 214 North Walnut Street.
