Search warrants were served in City Hall, the offices of the Muncie Sanitary District and its Kilgore offices, even at a private residence when the FBI visited Muncie again Tuesday. Indictments have been handed up against Nicole Grigsby, the District Administrator for the Muncie Sanitary District, and Tony Franklin, the owner of Franklin Building, and Design. According to the U.S. Attorneys’ Office, they’ve been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, making false statements, and falsification of documents in a federal investigation. The 44 year old Grigsby, of Muncie, and 60 year old Franklin, of Yorktown, were arrested Tuesday morning. Grigsby and Franklin face up to 20 years’ imprisonment if convicted of all charges.
