Big changes are coming. Beginning August first, if you disregard a school bus stop arm in Delaware County, you’ll have to go to court. Currently, you only have to pay a $75 fine for the infraction. The county reports around 30 stop arm violations each year. Court officials hope the change to a mandatory court appearance will help drivers think twice.
