Battery and strangulation counts face a Muncie man accused of choking his pregnant wife. Police say 28 year old Kody Tyler Mathis was arrested after grabbing the victim by the throat til she couldn’t breathe. Police say Mathis’ blood alcohol content at the time was more than twice the legal limit. He’s been convicted of pervious battery, disorderly conduct and public intoxication charges.
