Indiana Michigan Power plans an approximate $45 million to upgrade the electric transmission network serving customers in Jay County. The company plans to rebuild some sections of the power line in its existing right-of-way. Other sections might include re-routes and require new easements. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2021.
