Police say a woman stole $23,000 from a Yorktown business where she worked. 41 year old Terra Michelle Brown is charged with check fraud and theft. Police say the general manager of MIASA Automotive on S. West Street contacted them, stating that Brown, who had recently been fired, had totaled six checks worth just under $14,000 into her own account and had stolen other money at other times.
