Charges face a Muncie mother after she allegedly slapped her nine month old daughter because she thought the child’s father cared more about the youngster than about her. When 32 year old Chantel Spradlin told the child’s father what had happened, he called police, as Spradlin tried to get the phone away from him. She’s charged with neglect and battery.
