Muncie Man Indicted For Wire Fraud, False Statement Counts

A Muncie businessman whose properties were searched by FBI agents last week, has been indicted. 51 year old Rodney Barber is charged with wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and making a false statement as part of the investigation into the administration of Mayor Dennis Tyler. According to the Star Press, Barber paid kickbacks to an unnamed Muncie Sanitary District official “in the form of cash … or in the form of check contributions to the Delaware County Democratic Party.”
