Middletown is considering a consolidation with Fall Creek Township. The consolidation is to make sure there are adequate finances for the Middletown Fire Department. The town and township already share the costs equally for the operation of the fire department, and Fall Creek trustee, Steve Thompson, says the consolidation will better serve local residents.
