Barring unforeseen complications, the Muncie Fieldhouse will open again this fall for the first time since a severe 2017 storm damaged part of its roof. According to the Star Press, it’s unclear at this point if there will be any 2019-20 sectional play in the historic structure. All the schools in the Class 4A’s Sectional 9 grouping wanted to host – now it’s up to the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
