In a cash-and-stock deal valued at $17.3 billion, Eldorado Resorts Inc. is buying Caesars Entertainment Corp. – including Hoosier Park in Anderson. 60 casinos and resorts will now be held under a single name, and the combined business will be called Caesars. If approved by gaming regulators and shareholders, it will create the nation’s largest gaming operator.
