The Madison County Council will consider two requests from Invenergy today for the approval of the 120-megawatt Lone Oak Solar Farm. The two requests are for an expansion of the economic development revitalization area and tax abatements for the project. Invenergy requests to negotiate with nonparticipating owners to decrease the previous required setbacks in half. Also, Invenergy is seeking traditional 10-year abatement. The tax abatement request will be considered at the Madison County Government Center tonight at 6 p.m.
