Blackford County Man Accused Of Battery

A Blackford County man has been accused of battering and confining his spouse. According to the Star Press, 40-year-old Timothy Southerland was charged in the Blackford Circuit Court for domestic battery and criminal confinement. The level 5 felony has a maximum penalty of six years in prison.  Southerland was being held in the Blackford County jail under a $2,000 cash bond.
