Plan Calls For Formation Of Madison County Local Food Network

The Anderson City Council has adopted a resolution to establish the Madison County Local Food Network. The resolution supports turning vacant lots into community gardens; eliminating food waste; eradicating food deserts; and working with Anderson Community Schools to provide healthy meals and snacks to students.
