The Muncie Fire Department got the okay to buy four ambulances last week and now they’re looking to add three firetrucks. Chief Eddie Bell is asking the board of works for more than a million and a half dollars to fund the purchase. One would be for transporting scuba gear and dive equipment, another for entrapments and the third would be a 77 foot aerial firetruck.
