Governor Signs School Bus Safety Bill Into Law
On Wednesday, Gov. Eric Holcomb signed Senate Bill 2 into law. The tighter school bus safety law calls for buses are to have added safety equipment such as reflective tape and daytime running lights. Flashing lights must be used when a bus stops to load or unload passengers. And penalties are increased for drivers who disregard a bus arm when it is extended.
