A Daleville fire captain was listed in serious condition Wednesday, a day after he was injured in an accident involving a fire truck. David Mowrey and another firefighter, Rickie Taylor, were in their department’s Engine 83, returning from a fire run along Delaware County Road 300-West about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Taylor was treated and released. Mowrey remains hospitalized.
