Charges have been filed agaist a former Northside Middle School teacher charging him with battery and intimidation. 53 year old Eric Bowman was charged following an incident involving a 13 year old student on February 19th. Authorities say he shoved the student in the middle school’s band room and a hallway. Bowman had been the band director at Central High School and resigned from his job the next day. The charges against him could carry a 30 month prison term.
