The state budget adopted this past week earmarks $59.9 million for Ball State University to demolish part of and renovate the rest of the Cooper Science Complex. According to the StarPress, Cooper Science was one of seven buildings constructed during a growth surge in the 1960s and 1970s as Ball State expanded from a teachers college to a university.
