Troopers from the Indiana State Police concentrated their enforcement efforts last week on catching those drivers who fail to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles. Special patrols report 309 incidents and say they issued far more warnings than tickets, using the project to educate the public on the importance of slowing down and moving over for emergency vehicles.
