An amendment offered by State Rep. Terri Austin to help prevent intoxicated people from driving has been approved by the Indiana House. Austin, D-Anderson, says the bill would allow retailers to provide free or discounted rides to members of the public through taxis and ride-sharing services. The amendment and the legislation will now be considered by the Indiana Senate.
