Preparations are underway to rebuild one of Muncie’s major thorough-fares. They’ve already cut trees along Wheeling Avenue from Centennial Avenue to McGalliard Road. Soon I&M will move electric poles and other utilities will be re-routed. Actual road and sidewalk construction won’t take place for at least another year.
