The Former Muncie Building Commissioner is now a prison inmate in Florida. 40 year old Craig Nichols had been sentenced in January to two years beind bars on wire fraud and money laundering counts. He was accused of steering Muncie Sanitary District projects to his own businesses, at times accepting payment for work that was not done. He pleaded guilty to the charges.
