Election Board Drops Three From Primary

Three candidates have been removed from the primary ballot by the Delaware County Election Board.  Tony Cox, a Republican running for mayor, was removed because he had no Indiana GOP primary affiliation. Monte Murphy, running for City Council District 6 was ruled invalid because he, at one time, was convicted of a felony, which was later reduced to a misdemeanor. And Steve Smith was removed at his own request as candidate for City Council at-large.
