Trump Gets Money For Wall; Gov’t Shutdown Averted

President Trump held a rally Monday night in El Paso, Texas, not far from the U.S. border with Mexico. As the rally was underway, congressional negotiations announced a tentative deal to fund border security and avoid a government shutdown. The agreement offers President Trump nearly 1-point-4 billion dollars for his border wall, instead of the 5-point-7 billion he requested.
