New details are emerging in the death of a Muncie boy whose home was swept by fire early Thursday morning. Investigators say the 9-year-old, identified as Vincent Gibbons, was home alone when the fire broke out. Fire officials found him on the second-story loft which collapsed into the kitchen of the home in the 3600 block of South Walnut Street. The cause of the blaze remains unknown.
