The man behind the Scotty’s Brewhouse chain, Scott Wise, is facing at least two securities fraud lawsuits which claim he deceived investors. The suits say two shareholders were cheated out of a million dollars. Another investor, in another suit filed in November, points to a $300,000 loss. Scotty’s locations in Muncie, Carmel, Indianapolis and Waco, Texas recently closed as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
